Biography

Viviana Roqueta joins Warren Alpert Medical School as the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Affairs, bringing a career built around one central belief: students deserve steady, genuine support, both through their hardest moments and their proudest ones.

In this role, Viviana provides counseling and advising to medical students across all four years of the curriculum, working closely with the Mary B. Arnold mentoring program, faculty, and the career advising team to support students through academic milestones, licensing exam preparation, and Match week. She also helps design and implement Student Affairs programming, from orientation through graduation, and serves as a key liaison between students and the many offices that support their success, including the Office of Medical Education, Financial Aid, and Records and Registration.

Viviana earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. With a passion for student development and support, she went on to complete her Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education at Texas A&M University.

Throughout her career in higher education, Viviana has developed a reputation for meeting students where they are, whether helping someone navigate a personal crisis, advocating for accommodations, or simply celebrating a milestone. At Warren Alpert, she looks forward to being a steady presence for medical students during one of the most demanding and formative periods of their lives, in the difficult moments and the triumphant ones alike.
